ㅤLORD LUCASTER RIVIENㅤ
Of inconsequential blood and noble features, his was a tarnished image worn down by the tides of time and tragedy. Possessing a saturnine disposition, he was nigh spectral in how he loomed place-to-place.

ㅤIn-Game NamesㅤㅤLucaster, Morose & Poet
ㅤGuildㅤㅤThe Unsung
ㅤAppearance ㅤ A sculpted pallor wore signs of war and strife, where threads of black fabric obscure his lost left eye. He cut out a dour silhouette, bearing a head of hair not unlike the sheen and plumage of raven's feathers; straight, but weather-worn. With a gaze reminiscent of darkest night, he casts dour scrutiny on the world, void of any real warmth; a smouldering coal stark in contrast with his pale skin. Beneath that piercing stare, weariness marked his features in dark shadows; yet he strangely never lacked in vigour nor grace.ㅤHistoryㅤ An heir to nothing, his roots are rotten and withered, where an upbringing within the impoverished ward of Dampwick would thus shape his foundations; brought into a land of no consequence, bereft of warmth and kindness and all the better tools of society. Misery and misfortune in all its shades marked that tragic place, forming a phantom that would haunt him forever. New ghosts followed with them. Rendered a luckless man, all that could have caused his undoing would not snuff out his passion, for he carved his way through the world, anguish heavy on that insatiate heart of his.ㅤArmourㅤ Despite a long life as a ranger, Lucaster dons now a congregation of dark regal armour, fashioned out of fine plate. Decorated in royal blues and silvers, the armour offered the same grace in movement as a hunter's garments, whilst serving to add tenfold the protection in its mix of materials; dangerously versatile. Though ever still does he drape himself under shrouding cloaks, toting both blade and bow.
ㅤMOTIVATIONㅤㅤIn the dissolution of former ties, his deeds and purpose have since been swamped in mystery. The crowds he has frequented have changed and moulded over the years, seemingly turning with the seasons. Rumour tells of his deeds with a once-rampant warband, the Northcrest and their deeds against the undead. Though now, he is seen in the company of adventurers and sellswords as much as with scholars and mages, leading one to wonder where his true intentions lie. Like a shadow, he will as soon haunt the corner of a vast library as he would the fringes of conflict.
ㅤTITLES AND TOURNEYSㅤㅤ Bearing the title of Lord through marriage with his dear beloved wife Lady Bellamina, the Huntsman has since made public appearances in tourney and festivity alike. In his first year at the front of the House of Rivien, he made proud the noble banner by winning the Duel of Everstill. A Champion the very first time he penned his name down in the lists.
ㅤBIRD OF PASSAGEㅤㅤLucaster is often found to be frequenting the regions of the Eastern Kingdoms, namely Gilneas and Duskwood, though encounters may occur inbetween and beyond. From ruins new and old, darkened haunts, grave-sites and the pathless woods, the Ranger's curiosity alone takes him many a-place. In search for what, is anyone's guess. He travels in the company of a watchful raven. A bird of Blackwald, the corvid rarely leaves his presence; whether nesting on nearby boughs, scouring the skies, or perching upon his very shoulder.
ㅤHUNTSMANㅤㅤA hunter is nothing without their quarry, and a hunter must hunt. From doe to rabbit, Lucaster does not seek out only the mundane and the essential. Such skills of scouting and survival translate beyond but that, leading to past years making a name as a monster-hunter, and across the board a valuable asset to destroying what threatens the peace of society; drawn to the accursed and the doomed. Perhaps he may be convinced to be of aid, on such matters.
ㅤKUL TIRASㅤㅤOwing to a birth of misfortune, a selective few might recognize Lucaster from his prevalence in Boralus years back, namely within the Dampwick Ward and Hook Point, and other little haunts along the coast. He has since revisited the Isles plenty of times, but insofar had only so few encounters with figures of the past. Much has changed since, but he is not beyond recognition.

INFORMATION
Feel free to reach out and contact me as to any questions you may have, or even any ideas that may rope our characters together. I am nowhere near as intimidating as my character, so please don't hesitate, let's roleplay! I'm happy to chat and ramble :)
I am mainly looking for long-term roleplay given the nature of Lucaster's character; he can be civil, inquisitive and co-operative, but takes a long time in making true friends due to his cynicism and untrusting nature. I can however be open to hearing out short-term roleplay, say a chance conflict.
My style of roleplay varies between short-form and long-form writing dependent on the context and the scene available, though I do aim for concision and tend to mirror with scene partners.
I am an avid enjoyer of classic gothic literature, horror, and much of fantasy as a whole - anything from Stoker to Shelley to Fromsoft. The themes I follow often take on a similar, darker light - as does Lucaster's attitudes. Yet, whilst that is what I am drawn to, I am open to just about any genre. Life is full of variance and so I enjoy breaking past that mould within reason!
Thank you for reading! If you wish to make contact, I am available via Discord & bsky @morosehunter or in-game as mentioned before.
